" We purchased this toilet to replace a 93 builder grade low flow that required a plunger almost daily. I thought that we had a venting or some plumbing issue. All 3 toilets in the house clog up. I thought I might need a power assist toilet but after installing the Toto Carolina I can tell you that the plunger now sits in the garage. It flushes quick, quiet and clean. Installation was no problem for DH who is familiar with this work, however we did have to purchase the 10" set back due to having a marble baseboard that goes behind the toilet. We have been very happy with this toilet and am now in the process of MB reno and will be purchasing the 2nd Toto. Love the skirted base, no more nooks and crannies! "

" Great installation concept no more wax ring to deal with, why did it take so long to come up with a better system? Flushes great. Kids will plug it every once in a while but the adults in the house don't have a problem "

" For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would have a problem installing this toilet. I'm not a plumber, and I had absolutely no trouble. Just make sure the water supply is AT LEAST 8 inch left of the waste centerline instead of the usual 5 inch for most other toilets. Also, install the seat first (before installing the toilet); mine did not come with top-mounting capability as advertised. Otherwise, everything is straight forward. Flush action is extremely fast, quiet and efficient. I need not have worried about attempting to do the installation myself, and I got the satisfaction of saving some serious money that didn't go into my plumber's pocket. "

" Does not rinse bowl after flushing leaving smears. Seat is formed on the bottom leaving it flimsy,ugly and a cleaning nightmare. "

" I picked this brand and model of toilet after a lot of searching. It looks fabulous, works great, flush is strong and silent and the seat is comfy. Insist that your plumber read the directions first, as it is tricky. We needed to drill new holes for an additional anchoring (and he had it facing the wrong way first). Our floor was stone and it took some time getting the right drill. These things were minor gliches overall. We love it and would highly recommend this model "

" Maybe ours isn't installed or adjusted right, but we definitely have not put away the plunger. Very little water in bowl and at least one clog per week which does respond to plunger. "

" Was nervous about installing our first low-flush toilet (to replace 30 year-old original) but needn't have worried. This one is quieter than the old one & flushes just as well. It looks great & is really easy to clean, and the soft close seat is great. One word of caution -- if replacing another brand toilet, you may have some wall demo behind the toilet to accommodate the Toto. We think that little hassle was well worth it. We love our Toto! "
