An extremely popular toilet for contemporary bathrooms, the elongated two piece CST794SF Nexus toilet belongs to the Nexus Suite from TOTO. Featuring a G-Max flush and a 2-1/16" trap diameter, the Nexus is used primarily in residential applications for those looking to make a statement. The Nexus, with its G-Max flush, will exhibit TOTO's most powerful, commercially viable flush. Stylistically designed with a smooth skirted footprint, this toilet is capable of only fitting a standard 12” rough-in. Also, being an ADA compliant toilet, the Nexus has a more comfortable bowl height, making it easier to sit and stand. The Nexus is packaged with a seat not included and is backed by a 5 year limited warranty.

Date Purchased: 03/2008 Overall Rating: 10/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 7/10 " Installing the unifit hardware to the floor and the toilet on top of that is very easy. Installing the tank to toilet is a little more complex. Instructions are not that intuitive. Instructions don't tell you that a washer and nut go under tank before tank is bolted to the toilet. Mine currently leaks from what appears to be the Flush Valve Nut. I tightened the nut a bit and it still leaks... Tonight I'll rip up the tank and bolt the holes closed then fill tank with colored water then let it sit over a 5 gallon container to see if it has hairline cracks around flush valve or see if it's just the flush valve. Maybe the Flush Valve assembly needs to be replaced, maybe just the gasket. TOTO tech services are very friendly and helpful and are assisting me with troubleshooting. I don't mind going through this because this toilet is worth it (and we have a 2nd bathroon). "

Date Purchased: 07/2008 Overall Rating: 9/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 8/10 " Have had a Nexus installed for several months now with now problems. No clogs, or threats of clogs. Even when flushing large quantities of dog waste from the backyard - I've tested this thing's limits, and no problems at all. The flush is not whisper-quiet, but as quiet as any other toilet and the flush itself is quite short in duration, so the noise doesn't last long. Easy to install, no problems at all. A bit more complex than a non-skirted toilet, but it was still an easy install. This toilet looks really good due to the skirting, and the ADA height is great - more comfortable for everyone. It was expensive, but works so well and looks so good I don't regret it at all. "

Date Purchased: 05/2007 Overall Rating: 4/10 Flush Rating: 8/10 Ease of Installation: 6/10 " Love the look of this thing, which is why I bought it. Works well, but I've had two separate tanks (and two new gaskets) leak upon install. HM Wallace was good about sending me the new ones, but I'm still in the process of getting them to work right. I'll update this once it's fixed. "
REVIEW by Home I can do this, CA 4/21/2007
Date Purchased: 04/2007 Overall Rating: 9/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 10/10 " I purchased 3 TOTO toilets to reduce the water consumption in our home. Scheduled our Handyman to come and install,, but he could not come out right away. I found that it took me 2hrs to unpack and have one toilet working. I must say I had been so intimidated to attempt a toilet install,,, and now can laugh at myself. This was so easy. Install of my other ONE Piece toilets were fool proof. This Nexus was also an easy install but developed a SLOW drip leak from the gasket between the tank and the bowl. A call to my dealer and a new gasket is in the mail. A powerful flush and good rinsing of all the surface area of the bowl. GREAT looking toilet for our modern bath remodel. Lever usage seems a bit different. Can't change it with one that matches your other room finishes. We are happy with our purchase. "

REVIEW by Smith, WY 12/2/2007
Date Purchased: 08/2006 Overall Rating: 10/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 9/10 " Update - we have had the toilet for a little over one year. It was an excellent choice - so we have no regrets. This is not a sanagloss model (why don't they offer this in sanagloss?). Regarding the seal between the tank and the toilet. The key to avoiding this problem is to get some fine emory paper and smoothing the surfaces around the holes in the tank, both inside and outside prior to installation. This facilitates a good seal. We have had no issues with leaks having done that. The toilet looks good and flushes correctly, so mission accomplished. Only challenge now is that we have several more toilets to replace - which ones to get? This is a fairly expensive toilet that looks nice in our guest bathroom, but I am considering using the Drake model in some of the other bathrooms. "
REVIEW by Smith, VA 8/13/2006
Date Purchased: 08/2006 Overall Rating: 10/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 9/10 " Excellent product. I installed it myself without any problems. Please note that some skirted Toto toilets require that the water supply valve is more than the standard 6 inches of offset from the center of the toilet to avoid interference with the toilet. The Nexus is OK with the 6 inch offset. As has been said by many other consumers, we have had trouble with our builder grade 1.6 gallon flush toilets, so we bought a Toto as a test. We just installed it one day ago, but so far, no problems. Please note that installation requires that you be able to drill 4 holes in the floor, which is no problem, but requires some extra care if the floor is tile. We also had to change the water supply riser tube because the old one was too short (lower toilet). This model also looks very modern with a clean design. Love the soft close seat. Highly recommended. "

Date Purchased: 03/2006 Overall Rating: 9/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 9/10 " Overall a good toilet.I'm having some trouble with the tank to bowl gasket leaking. The seat had a half inch gap at the front between the seat and bowl, seat bumpers did not touch bowl.I though i had a warped seat plus it had scuff marks and scratches on the lid.I was sent a second one,not much better.I called toto and they said the gap is normal.Defective seats, poor quality control.Other than the seat an excellent toilet. REVIEW by Rodney W., WI 3/20/2006
Date Purchased: 05/2005 Overall Rating: 10/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 10/10 " I remodeled 2 bathrooms in my house last year, one with a Kohler toilet (1.4 gpf ADA) and one with a Toto Nexus toilet (1.6 gpf ADA). The Nexus toilet looks better, flushes better, has a much larger water surface area, is easier to clean, and has a better fit and finish compared to the Kohler. I really had no problems installing it either. It was more money than the Kohler, ($280.00 for the Kohler and $550.00 for the Toto) but the next comparable toilet Kohler offers to compete with the Nexus is the Hatbox toilet which runs about $2000.00. Overall it's completely worth the extra $300.00. "

Date Purchased: 08/2005 Overall Rating: 10/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 10/10 " After doing some research I purchased a Toto toilet. Since I could not purchase one from my local home builder store I ordered it on line. I am very happy with my purchase. We have been using our new toilets, we purchased two, for almost a year now and have never had a problem. The flush is quick and quiet and uses less water. "

I equipped it with a maple seat. Together, they have a fabulous look and have drawn great reviews whenever someone sees them for the first time. I am very very pleased with the result. "

REVIEW by Ziya Dikman, CA 10/9/2006
Date Purchased: 08/2006 Overall Rating: 10/10 Flush Rating: 10/10 Ease of Installation: 7/10 " Very nice toilet - great flush, fairly easy to install. Note a couple small issues for install: Getting to the nuts that hold the seat to the toilet can be difficult - especially if the toilet is in a tight space (buy a seat that can be tightened from the top). Also - the seal between tank and bowl isn't intuitive but does work perfectly once you figure it out. "
