EDITOR'S REVIEW
The elongated two piece CST784SF Clayton toilet belongs to the Clayton Suite from TOTO. Featuring a G-Max flush and a 2-1/8" trap diameter, the Clayton is used primarily in residential applications and is popular for its classic, beveled design. Due to the G-Max flush (ranked 1st out of TOTO's 4 flushes), the Clayton will exhibit TOTO's most powerful, commercially viable flush. This toilet is designed to fit a 12" rough distance. Being an ADA compliant toilet, the Clayton has a more comfortable bowl height, making it easier to sit and stand. The Clayton is packaged with a seat not included and is backed by a 5 year limited warranty.

" This toilet was installed instead of the promised Soiree. We find that it flushes noisily, but that may be just what these new types do. Main problem is that it does not clean the bowl well. It has to be cleaned after almost every use. The water level is a little low. Manual says you can't change that. We also got the softclose seat. It is hard to clean, too (underneath.) "

" Don't buy this toilet! The bowl cracked when we were connecting the tank and bowl during installation. We thought there must have been a hairline fracture, so the dealer replaced it for free. Before trying again, we spoke with Toto to be sure that we were following the instructions and installing it correctly, because the tank and bowl seemed to not want to go together without the bolts being SUPER tight. They told us the tank and bowl must touch, so we were to continue to tighten each side until that happened. We tried again and had the same result... the bowl cracked before the tank and bowl were even touching. We installed 4 Toto Drake toilets without any problems. Skip the Clayton and go with the Drake! "

" I will only buy Toto from now on forever. I went through two American Standards which didn't flush, and didn't fit right. The Toto went in smooth - easy installation, has a quiet flush and never backs up. The Clayton has a nice antique look to it as well. Go with Toto. "

" I purchased this toilet to replace the original toilet in one of my bathrooms. Since I did not know anything about toilets, I followed the recommendation of my plumber. He told me that TOTO toilets were the best, and I have not been disappointed. "

" My wife and I moved into our new home built by a large national corporation, a very nice house. However, we did not like the four toilets supplied by the builder, i.e., flushing and clogging problems were prevalent. We researched on the Internet for great flushing toilets and found that American Standard Champion toilets could flush +/- 24 golf balls at one time. As a result of such advertising, we had a plumber replace all four of our toilets with said American Standard Champion toilets. To make a very long story short, said American Standard Champion toilets turned out to be very disappointing for a number of reasons, although same would not clog easily. At this point, we went back to the Internet for more toilet research and found Toto toilets. Again, to make a very long story short, we had said American Standard Champion toilets removed and replaced with Toto toilets, three Clayton's and one Drake, all with soft close seats. As a result of such action, our toilet crisis came to an end. Toto toilets are the best thing since sliced bread was invented. We are very happy with all of our Toto's and strongly recommend same. "

" The toilet looks great---however, it rocks. The plumber used shims and all kinds of ways to make the toilet steady. Even the top does not fit well...kind of like someone's poorly made ceramics. "

" My question to you is: After I flush the toilet and the toilet is to replace the water in the bowl and does this and the cycle is complete why is the water level in the bowl in volume equal to a cup of water? We recently had a new trap put in and after replacing the toilet, this problem occured. Would the trap have any thing to do with this(dimension wise)all though other then the new being PVC and the old being cast, there didn't seem to be too much difference in dimension. Also because a tile floor was to be the new design, the installer while installing the new mount for the toile made this flush with the cement.Question: Is the sum of the water in the 1.Tank, 2.Bowl, 3.Trap govern how much water is in the bowl. To further explain: at the completion of the flush cycle the water seems to be sucked out of the bowl in a way simular to losing vacuum. Please look into this for me. My email is: donahue3849@comcast.net Thank You "
