" This is the best. Quiet flush, everything goes down-fast. The old Briggs required at least three flushes with help from plunger. Will order another Toto Drake for the downstairs bath soon. I love it! "

" Works great. The 28 year old American Standard one piece that I replaced would clog frequently and constantly needed attention. This new Toto Drake is a dream. Quiet, efficient and low water consumption. Not sure if the sanagloss finish is worth it but I have nothing to compare it to. Not thrilled with the plastic, soft close seat. "

" Installation is standard for 2 piece toilet. I love the toto flush, no more holding down the lever, everything goes down and it happens in a matter of a couple seconds. The lid does not fit perfectly, a piece of velcro on the back works wonders. "

" Had to replace three old toilets because of building code for a remodel. Research showed lots of problems with low flush models. Drake Toto was rated the best in by a large study. Purchased three, they were installed easily, and have worked great for over 3 years. Never a clog ... never! Easy to clean. Am now building a new house and will put in Toto Drakes. "

" After reviewing several brands and makes. I checked the displays at Lowe's and Home Depot. They had some 'high-performance' American Standard type brands. They just looked cheap, but cost $$$. Glad I found this site. The Toto ratings are the best I have seen searching the net. I am also very pleased. Had this one for about two years now. Never clogged even with kids using 1/2 roll. If you know what I mean. That is why I got it. I am not looking back now. The Sana-Gloss is worth it. Just like the instructions say, "Brushing is still needed." The bowl cleans with a quick brush, no cleaner. I get some hard water crud but a quick brush the ring is gone -- for another month or more. I ordered 3 days delivered. I installed with out any issues. Yep, I did put my hand in (new system) the water flow is very strong. NO waiting around to see if it will go down. Flush... gone! "

" I own 3 Toto's and they are fantastic toilets. You would have to really work to plug one up. The only toilet that is not a Toto Drake is a corner toilet- because Toto doesn't make one. "

" The Drake toilet has allowed me to throw away the plunger. Eco-friendly toilets are for the birds (literally) The toilets in my new houses clogged up at least once a week. Now I no longer have to worry about a guest asking me for a plunger.

" Just had 3 of these installed. These flush like expensive commercial toilets and are essentially clog free. Had one issue with the fill valve, but Toto sent me a replacement with no questions asked. The elongated bowls are more compact than those of competitors and therefore fit in smaller bathrooms. Would buy these again in a heartbeat. "

" I ordered the toilet on Monday and received it that Friday...I thought that was great! The toilet was just installed yesterday, we hired a professional, it took him approx 1/2 hour--seemed to be an easy install. The toilet looks good (the only problem is that the toilet does not fit flush against the wall--I can now see my old wallpaper--nonetheless, I can live with that, and so far, flushes good. I am hoping that the extra money spent on the Sanagloss is worth it. I would not hesitate to order from this company again. "

" Tried to buy one at the local dealer, but they claimed they could only get the eco-flush for over a month (same porcelain, different valves to make the 1.28 rating instead of 1.6). Both the dealer and Toto claim equal performance, but MaP testing only showed 600 instead of 900. I'm not flushing tofu, but didn't want to risk it, so bought one from Performance Toilets instead.
Shipped with both boxes expandofoamed into a larger box: nearly indestructable! Only took 3 days from order; just as estimated. Installed like any standard toilet, couldn't be much easier.
Only been a few days, but we have yet to clog it. Sure does seem powerful, yet not so noisy to wake people in the middle of the night.
Aesthetically, I expected slightly better hue match when assembled (the bowl made in Vietnam and the Tank in Mexico; I think China on the round bowl but realizing eco-flush before installing: neither half came out of the box) for the money. The tank lid is also a bit sloppy, and, no matter what angle, shows where the finished surface didn't make it all the way around the edge halfway across the tank. But I seem to be the only one who can tell any of these, and as long as it flushes well I'm quite happy!
Knowing the warnings against strong acids, I'm not sure I would have chose Sana-Gloss, but haven't seen any marks last over a second flush, so again no regrets! "

" I bought a Drake in 3/2009. I've used it for a month and I'm very happy with the product. My plumber installed it without problems in under an hour. When I first tried the flush, I wondered if it would be sufficient to discard all the waste (this after dealing with a cheap tract house toilet that required a plunger about once a week). But no problem--low key, but powerful. There have been comments about track marks--that happened once, but a few squirts of a toilet cleaner (I use GreenWorks by Clorox) took care of any debris without the use of a brush. I will definitely purchase the Toto line for other toilet replacements. "

" Just purchased two Drakes to replace awful builder grade toilets that do not flush properly. The Drake is easier to install than some of the other Toto models (we got a Nexus a while back), with its two standard bolts. It does not require drilling the 6 holes, etc. The install was easy, the toilet works flawlessly and we look forward to retiring our plungers. Just two more to go. I want to give the Aquia a try with its water saving dual flush mode. "

" The Sana-Gloss doesn't prevent stool from sticking. Flushing empties the bowl well, but does not clean the sides. A bowl brush is needed daily. The seat is not comfortable. "

" This puppy replaced an 'old dog' of a toilet in our main floor powder room that would never fail to clog when guests were around. Installation very simple.. but on par with other 2 piece toilets. Flushing goes 'voom' and everything goes straight down; no more swirling and wondering 'is it going?' Jury's still out on the sana gloss finish; seems nice but still needs brushing-- especially since the rinse in the bowl is less than other toilets. All in all, a very nice design. I'll have to wait for a couple of months to decide if we should replace more with this model; a bit on the pricey side for a basic 2 piece toilet, but it does the job. No disappointments on purchase. "

" This toilet is UNBELIEVABLE! After suffering thru years of horrible toilets that would not flush ANYTHING down, I bought 2 of these Drakes, and they are just magnificent. The flush is so powerful and thorough, and NEVER clogs. I am extremely happy with these. They were very easy to install, and cleaning them is never a problem because of the Sana-gloss finish. I can't rave enough about how pleased I am at the performance of these babies. Quit putting up with crappy toilets and do yourself a favor and get one of these!!! "

" have installed toilet which was easy. the toilet flushes well. I don't like the elongated bowl. it looks like a rocket in the BR. the bowl has many edges but has been relatively easy to clean. would recommend you not buy the $60 lid as it is cheaply made. would recommend the round toilet and don't waste your time with the sanigloss. otherwise a good toilet but a bit pricey. "

" This toilet works very well and uses very little water. It rarely clogs and is easy to clear when it does. Since it uses little water to flush, it can be flushed about three times in a row from one tank of water which makes cleaning quick and easy without waiting for the tank to refill. I have a low pressure well system and line pressure is not an issue with this toilet. "

" Absolutely incredible. You flush it and everything goes away. This has become the toliet of choice for serious jobs. I would expect to be plunging about once a day with my old preasure tank toilet. With this one I have plunged it once in the 4 months I have had it. Eventually all the toliets in my house will be Drakes. (I was also quite impressed with the way it was packaged for shipment) "

" After years of putting up with 50 year old American Standard toilets that flush poorly, we decided to upgrade. Initially we looked at pressure flush models, but after finding and reading the MaP report (available at www.cwwa.ca/freepub_e.asp) we decided to give the Toto Drake a try. We tried one, and after two months of use, ordered two more. We continue to be amazed at how quiet, quick, and effective this toilet is. " This was my first Toto. I love the way it flushes. I do not have other low volume toilets in the other bathrooms but I use the Toto most. The two main features I do not like are the extra money for the Sana-Gloss was not worth it to me as I still have to use the brush very often to clean the sides above the water line and secondly the water level is low in the bowl compared to the other toilets I own. I do love the flushing action. Better not drop your wallet or glasses or they are gone!!! "

" The toilet flushes fast and the tank refills fast. The way it flushes is nice too. The tank doesn't fill with water, instead the water and paper in the bowl get pull out by siphon (the water in the tank rushes by the hole pulling the bowl water out). We were so pleased with it that we bought another one when we remodeled. We have the elongated bowl and the underside of the seat does get some splashing of urine. I don’t think the round bowl would. Definitely spend the extra for the softclose seat! The Sanigloss finish doesn't eliminate cleaning, you do have to clean the bowl. "

" Most toilets claim that they can flush 18 - 20 golf balls. Who in thier right mind would flush golf balls. What I was interested in can it flush an 8 inch turd. Yes it can!!! Great toilet. "
