Ease of Installation: 8/10 " Nice water action but the bowl is shaped in such a way that solid elimination sit on the horizontal "shelf" so as to not get totally flushed away. Poor design. Always look at the inner contour of the bowl before you buy and avoid anything that has a ledge or shelf in the bowl - especially if you eat a lot of pasta. "

Ease of Installation: 10/10 " Great toilet! Haven't had any problems at all and love the small footprint. I chose the Dalton because it is the only round ADA Toto toilet I found. When in Maui this year the hotel we stayed in (Maui Hill) had Drake toilets in all the rooms and we loved the great power and quick refill. So when looking for a Toto for our newly remodeled Master bathroom (it is kind of a narrow bathroom) The Dalton fit the bill! We have great water pressure here in Salt Lake City so This toilet only takes 13 seconds to refill! I just ordered a Toto Drake for the main bathroom and hope I will be just as happy with it. I have been running a small Drain & Sewer Service here in Salt Lake for over 23 years and have only had to clear 3 Toto's ever to date. I personally think Toto Toilets are the best toilets ever Made! Ease of Installation: 9/10 " At first I wasn't sure about the Toto flush system, but now it seems to be working fine. Overall, I do like this particular style of the toilet - especially the lever. I refuse to get the other type where you swing it towards you. "

Flush Rating: 10/10
Ease of Installation: 9/10 " I am very pleased with our new toilet. It was important to have an ADA approved toilet. The round Dalton was a perfect fit to our limited space. It has a powerful flush yet quietly refills. It's so solid and the price was right. One suggestion--installation instructions could have been a bit clearer. The hardware illustrations, especially tank to toilet base, were too small to make out.
Overall I can highly recommend the Dalton toilet. I'm so happy with my purchase and would buy it all over again. "

Overall Rating: 7/10
Flush Rating: 2/10
Ease of Installation: 9/10 " Flush does not allow for toilet to get properly clean as water comes up instead of swirling form above. Not sanitary because sides do not get clean, paper and bodily elimination sticks to sides. Do not recommend. Came with old style bulb turnoff mechanism which was broken. Had to order new tank innards. "

Ease of Installation: 10/10 " I wanted an ADA height toilet but didn't have the room for an elongated bowl. Dalton was only non-elongated ADA I could find. No regrets at all. I'm 6'4 inch and 285#. I don't miss the elongation at all with deeper bowl shape design. It flushes amazingly well with such low water usage. In 3 months it has never plugged and I've only needed to go to the brush once. I installed it myself with no difficulty. "

Ease of Installation: 10/10 " Cannot recommend because of poor bowl wash. This is very annoying and is the ONLY thing bad about this toilet. All else is great:Ada height, 26 inch depth for my small bath area. However the flush does not clean the bowl adequately-do not purchase! "

Flush Rating: 10/10
Ease of Installation: 10/10 " I have been very happy with the Drake ADA unit installed in our hall bathroom but I needed a smaller round bowl toilet for a seldom used powder room. I was a little apprehensive when the sales staff recommended the Dalton. It seemed pretty basic but the price was unbeatable and it had the Toto reputation behind it. I'm happy to report that the Dalton is an excellent buy. It was very easy to install and it never stops up. The bowl is a new design to minimise smudging and a larger water surface. It is also designed with a nice height, about an inch taller than our old Elger but not ADA height. The size works great in small baths and it is much quieter than the original 1957 Elger that surrendered it's 49 year reign. I can't imagine what the first reviewer hates about it. This is an outstanding value in a basic plug and play toilet that never needs attention. "

Ease of Installation: 10/10 " Overall, fantastic toilet. Bought the $60 Eljer at Home Depot after a remodel and it clogged weekly. The flush on the Dalton is pretty powerful and have not even thought about using a plunger. Keeps the sides pretty clean, although could be slightly better in this area. Despite this, we have not had to clean it yet so it is not a big deal. This made me a believer in Totos. In my opinion, the Dalton is an excellent value for someone who wants a high performance john without spending $500. The seat is also very cool. "
